Would it surprise you to hear that Spam (and canned corned beef) are still considered proper trade good gifts to the tribal chiefs (matai's) on AS? Honestly, I always thought the stuff was basically inedible, until a plate was put in front of me at a social occasion. Naturally I couldn't refuse it, and was surprised how much I dug the salty fattiness. It's underrated.
